What's New?

I apologize for the lack of new content on this blog lately. I have returned to work full time and at the moment there just don’t seem to be enough hours in the day. I am sure it will be different after I get used to the new pace.

Painting has been pushed to the background for now and I have not been able to finish any new artwork to post on The Creaky Easel. It is never far from my mind though, and I have several ideas for new pieces. I have sold a couple pieces and am hoping to get into the local art scene and get an exhibit set up.

Visitors from out of town have had to be entertained; we went out of town for a couple days to ready the other house for winter as it has still not sold; and there have been personal issues with our son consuming valuable time. My husband works long hours and I have spoiled him so he has become accustomed to my making his lunches and preparing the meals and doing all the housework. After 35 years, this is not going to change! As many of you also do, I spend my days off playing ‘catch-up’ with the big jobs and trying to prepare things ahead for the following week to make the days go a little smoother. All of this stuff does not seem to be as easy to cope with as it was when I was younger!! It saps my energy and plays havoc with my fibromyalgia.. I hope you will visit again and I will do my best to keep a more consistent flow.

Important Note

This is just to let you know that the color you see may be different than the color I see due to different monitors. If you would like to see more images of my artwork before making a purchase, please email me and I can mail you a photograph of the piece or pieces that you are interested in. Artwork will look different in person as well.

If you are not satisfied with an artwork you have purchased please let me know right away so I can do whatever is necessary to have a happy customer.
